초록 밀양지역 밀양납석광상 조사연구: The Milyang pyrophyllite deposit occurs in late cretaceous andesitlc rock in the Milyang area. The pyrophyllite ores are formed by hydrothermal alteration of the andesitic rock. The alteration zone is generally characterized by the zonal distribution of altered zones, such as pyrophyllitic zone (pyrophyllit-kaolonite), porcelainous zone (quartz-sericite-phyrophyllite-kaolonite) and propylite zone in the order from the cecter to the margin. The shape of the ore bodies are formed and controlled by faults and joint, along which the hydrothermal alteration took placed. The pyrophyllitic ore is generally represented by pyrophyllite associated with kaolinite. The porcelainous ore is characterized by the presence of quartz, pyrophyllite, kaolonite and sericite. Other minerals are chlorite, andalusite, dumotierite, alunute, epidote and Fe-minerals such as pyrite and hematite. Chemical compositions of the pyrophyllite ore is as follows: SiO₂ 46.04-69.15 wt%, Al₂O₃ 21.02-38.27 wt%, Fe₂O₃ 0.53-8.11 wt%, S.K 26-33. The ore reserves of the phyrophyllitic ore are 6,896,000M/T

부여지역 장석광상 조사 연구: Purposes for feldspar deposit research are in the assurance of domestic ore reserves and in the plentiful supplies of raw materials for ceramics, glass manufactures, and other kind of advanced materials. Study areas in the year of 1998 are in the Booyeo-eub, Gooam, and Jangam-myon of Booyeo-gun, Choongnam Province. General geology of the study areas mainly consists of Pre-cambrian metamorphic complexes composed of gneisses and schists, and they were intruded Jurassic biotite granite. Two feldspar deposits are found in the Booyeo area, the one is Jangam mine of Wonmoon-ri, Jangam-myon, and the other Boosan mine of Jinbyon-ri, Gyuam-myon, and their ore distributions are 1370x750m and 450x450m respectively. Feldspar ores of Jangam mine were enriched by dynamic metamorphism and hydrothermal alteration due to intrusion of leucocratic granite, and subsequent enrichment of garnet and sericitie was followed. On the other hand, origin of Boosan feldspar mine is leucocratic granite itself. Chemical analyses show 0.44% Fe₂O₃, 9.16% K₂O+Na₂O, and 10+ refractoriness value (S.K) in the Jangam mine, and Boosan mine represents 0.52% Fe₂O₃, 8.73% K₂O+Na₂O, and 11+ S.K. Ore reserves were calculated 65 million M/T in the Jangam mine, and 12 million M/T the Boosan mine
