Title Vertical Profile Dataset of Temperature and Electrical Conductivity
Description This dataset contains vertical field measurements collected to investigate the physicochemical characteristics and formation of the hyporheic zone in the Tandoncheon Stream. The measured parameters include water temperature, electrical conductivity (EC), pH, pressure, and specific conductivity. Measurements were conducted at multiple depths (typically 5–50 cm) to capture vertical gradients representing interactions between surface water and groundwater. The dataset also includes metadata such as sample names, classifications, and measurement times, supporting the identification of hyporheic flow, groundwater discharge influence, and depth-dependent water quality variations. These data served as the foundational raw measurements used in the study to demonstrate trends such as temperature decrease with depth, increasing groundwater influence below ~30 cm, and contrasts between surface water and shallow groundwater chemistry.
