Abstract : The geology of the Taran area in Middle Kalimantan, Indonesia comprises Permian to Carboniferous Pinoh Metamorphic Rocks and Cretaceous Sepauk Plutonics of the Sunda Shield, late Eocene Tanjung Formation, Oligocene Malasan Volcanics, Oligocene to early Miocene Sintang Intrusives and Quaternary alluvium. The ore exploration carried out of quartz veins in the Taran areas. The chemical values of quartz vein samples for outcropsin this area are defined such as over values of Au ; 18.62ppm (2.90ppm), Ag ; 9.24ppm (1.82ppm), Cu ; 127.8ppm (25.06ppm), Pb ; 1,148ppm (130.94ppm), Zn ; 1,636ppm (196.26ppm), As ; 201.8ppm (69.47ppm), and Sb ; 6.53ppm (1.09ppm), respectively. Two promising areas, the southern (Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn) and northern parts (Ag) of the Taran area, have been chosen based on the factors such as, geologic settings associated with possible mineralizations, high anomalous area revealed by geochemical survey, result of geophysical survey, chemical analysis of ore and heavy minerals, statistical processing of the chemical analysis, petrographic studies of igneous rocks related to its mineralization, and graphic presentation of anomalous areas

요약 : 인도네시아 중부 칼리만탄 쿠알라쿠룬 지역의 지질은 하부로부터 석탄-페름기의 피노변성암류, 백악기 세파욱심성암류, 에오세말기의 탄중층과 올리고세의 말라산화산암류로 구성되며, 올리고세-마이오세초기의 신탕관입암류가 상기한 모든 지층들을 관입하고 있다. 타란 지역은 석영맥을 대상으로 광상조사를 수행하였다. 이 지역 지표상에 나타나는 석영맥시료의 화학분석 값은 Au : 18.62ppm (평균함량 : 2.90ppm), Ag : 9.24ppm (평균함량 : 1.82ppm), Cu : 127.8ppm (평균함량 : 25.06ppm), Pb : 1,148ppm (평균함량 : 130.94ppm), Zn : 1,636ppm (평균함량 : 196.26ppm), As : 201.8ppm (평균함량 : 69.47ppm), Sb : 6.53ppm (평균함량 : 1.09ppm)이다. 조사지역의 유망지역은 광화작용과 관계되는 지질조건, 지화학 조사에 의한 이상대, 지구물리탐사 결과, 광석광물의 분석, 분석값들의 통계분석, 광화작용과 수반되는 화성암의 관계 연구, 지화학 이상대 분포 등을 고려하여 타란지역내 남부 (Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn)와 북부 (Ag) 유망지역 등 2지역의 유망지역을 선정하였다.
