Alternative method in searching for the Science Club Activity
Program of secondary school - Visiting Science Lab Program

ABSTRACT
Extra curriculum is self-determining activity that goes out one\'s potential and creative development as taking part in voluntarily. Science activity in school is able to divide into the process of teaching-studying in the educational program and a case using event or experience activity like Extra curriculum. It does a bridge role between science in school and out of school. <Visiting Science Lab Program: VSLP>is make coordinated program with WISE center in Ewha University. Voluntary teacher and middle school students with wishes are cooperate science experiments and scientific experience. Program contents are curious topics and integrated science contents. This activity is a help to extension of investigation ability and upbringing of scientific attitude as offering students experience that solving the problem about surrounding things or natural phenomena. In this study, the effect of activity using relation of high level school or other research institute is considered. The result of <VSLP> analysis through before and after survey report with students who participated in and didn\'t participated in the program lead to positive changing in preference for science ratio, science experience ratio and choice of science work. Program satisfaction ratio is high (mean 3.81/5). Control group and Treatment group with questionnaire results is <VSLP> is make positive change Preference for Science ratio & Science experience ratio & Choice of Science work. (p<.05) Also, the result shows that <VSLP> can contribute to improve science intimate studying attitude. This program is new trial about extra curriculum in science, because that it is first program trying be connected with university.

국문 요약
계발활동은 흥미, 취미, 적성이 비슷한 학생들로 구성된 집단에 자발적으로 참여하여 자신의 잠재능력과 창의성을 계발, 신장시켜 나가는 자율적인 활동을 말한다. 학교 내에서의 과학 교육은 크게 교육 과정 내의 교수-학습 과정과 계발활동과 같은 행사 및 체험 활동을 이용하는 경우로 구분할 수 있으며 학교 밖에서의 과학 교육와의 사이의 교량 역할을 하는 것이 과학 관련 계발활동이다. 이 활동은 학생들에게 주위의 사물이나 자연 현상에 관한 문제를 과학적이며 창의적인 다양한 방법으로 해결하기 위해 노력하는 경험을 제공함으로서 탐구 능력의 신장 및 과학적 태도 육성에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 계발활동 시간을 활용한 과학반을 운영함에 있어서 상위급의 학교나 다른 연구소와의 연계를 이용한 활동을 통한 효과를 과학에 대한 정의적인 면에 있어서 살펴보았다. <찾아가는 실험실>프로그램은 이화여대 WISE 거점 센터의 협조와 지원 아래 자원 봉사 대학생들과의 조별 실험 을 통한 여러 가지 통합 과학적 측면에서의 활동을 수행하는 것이다. 참여한 학생들과 일반 과학반 학생들을 대상으로 사전, 사후 검사지를 통하여 효과를 분석해본 결과 본 연구에 사용한 과학에 대한 선호도와 학습 태도면에서의 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어냈으며(p<.05 수준에서 유의미함) 프로그램별 만족도도 높고(평균 3.81/5). 과학관련 역할 모델을 제시와 과학 친화적 학습 태도를 향상시키는데 성과가 있다고 분석되었으며 대학과의 연계를 시도한 최초의 프로그램이므로 과학 관련 계발활동의 역할에 대한 새로운 시도임을 알 수 있었다.
